40th Anniversary Flare RedG-SHOCK, the timepiece that has been relentlessly pursuing toughness since 1983, is proud to announce a new limited-edition G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary Flare Red model to commemorate our 40th anniversary in 2023.
Based on the concept of a powerful solar flare, the MTG-B3000 and GWG-2000 were designed using new technology and decorated with the G-SHOCK brand colors of black and red.
The multi-color insert bezels of these models are created by stacking multiple layers of carbon and glass fibers.
Inspired by the enormous explosive power of a solar flare, glass fiber sheets are embedded with phosphorescent particles that create a strong presence, even in the dark.
The forged carbon bezel components of the GWG-2040FR are also molded with phosphorescent particles.
The bezel parts of both models are manufactured in a way that makes each bezel distinctively original, so no two bezels are exactly the same.
The unique designs of these models are also lightweight and highly durable.
The dials of these models are printed with a solar flare pattern, while the back cases are engraved with the 40th anniversary logo created by Eric Haze. The band ring is also engraved with four stars representing the number 40, which makes these models very special.
