G PRESENTS LOVER'S COLLECTION 2016From G Presents Lover's Collection comes angel-and-devil motif limited-edition Christmas models that also mark the 20th anniversary of this popular series. This is marked by themes and color that are firsts for the models of this series.
Base models are the G-SHOCK GA-110 big case model and the BABY-G BA-110 which was inspired by the GA-110. Both models combine various parts into complex patterns. These new models use the same white-and-navy coloring as the original LOV-96-1 model, and they are strongly linked with the angel-and-devil theme of the original model, even though their appearance and shape are different. The G-SHOCK models feature a metal part that represents a devil's spear while the BABY-G models feature an angel's heart metal part. These are intended to represent the inseparable bond between two lovers.
Gold coloring is used to commemorate the 20th anniversary of these models. These models come in a heart-shaped box marked with the text, "G PRESENTS LOVER'S COLLECTION 20TH ANNIVERSARY," and drawings of an angel and a devil. The base color of the package is white, with navy blue and gold for the illustrations to match the coloring of the watches. The back covers of these models are imprinted with the figure of an angel and a devil, and the year 2016.
