The base model of the G-SHOCK is the AW-591 basic analog-digital combination, while the BABY-G base model is the BGA-150.
The theme is this year's models is "Love is the most powerful force in the universe," so the G-SHOCK and BABY-G models feature cosmic designs. The bezel of the G-SHOCK and the separator of the BABY-G have an aurora ion plated finish that recreates some of the brilliant colors of the cosmos. The G-SHOCK has a star at 1 o'clock and the BABY-G has a crescent moon at 2 o'clock, which are created using polarized metal material. In outer space, the stars and moons coexist with interconnecting bonds that are similar to the bonds between lovers.
The back covers are imprinted with the figure of an angel and a devil, and the year 2017. The black pair model box is marked with the text "G PRESENTS LOVER'S COLLECTION 2017" and a special design that incorporates a moon surrounded by stars.
