Signal reception can be turned on or off, which means that the watch will function as a normal watch in areas where a time calibration signal cannot be received. When signal reception is turned on, the watch receives the local time calibration signal (when a receivable signal is available) to keep your time and date settings accurate no matter where your business or leisure travels take you.
